In your role of Talent Advisor | In-house Executive Search, you will help contribute to Cherry Ventures’ mission of putting our founders first, providing unrivaled support for the startups we invest in.

What this means in practice within the Talent team, is sourcing amazing talent, supporting, and providing advice to our founders around Talent matters, such as how to attract and retain the best talent, organizational design through to building their employer brand. You will also be responsible for building up our Cherry Ventures network of top talent through nurture campaigns and networking, so we can help our founders build high-performing teams.

Success Factors:

You will be successful in this role if you can help us:

  • Identify and attract critical hires for our portfolio of companies (C-suite/VP level appointments & key technical roles), with a keen eye on diversity.

  • Participate in our networking events - attending roundtable discussions, talks, and networking opportunities we set up for our founder communities.

  • Build a knowledge base for our founder community to tap into


What we would love to see from you:

In your role as Talent Advisor | In-house Executive Search, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience or interest in creating networks at an executive level CTO’s, CFO’s, CPO’s, VP, Heads of departments, as well as talent pooling for highly sought out technical skills.

  • A top performer in your company, ideally you will come from a tech recruitment background (in-house or agency/exec search considered) with excellent research skills. You’re naturally inquisitive and you keep abreast of the latest trends within Talent.

  • You are passionate about talent acquisition, diversity, culture, and people matters and working your way to being a subject matter expert.

  • Experienced using a variety of sourcing tools such as LinkedIn, Github repositories, building networks and talent pools, and/or using nurture tools such as Entelo, Gem, etc.

  • Comfortable building relationships and advising founders around a range of topics in the Talent space

  • Growth mindset, experimental with good problem solving and project management skills

  • Advanced English skills (any additional languages a plus but our founders operate in English)

  • We have offices in Berlin (HQ) or London - however, we run a hybrid work structure here, so you can either work full time from our offices or 2-3 days per week from home.
